The Christian Book Exhibition held in Port Sudan, Gedaref and Khartoum continues to be key in reaching Muslims with the Gospel. People can easily get Christian literature, have opportunity to watch Christian films and have personal interaction with workers. Volunteers in the exhibition receive training on how to witness to Muslims.

The bookshop ministry is developing; sales of the Logos Bookshop have increased to over US$2000 per month. A bookshop in the capital of the south was slated to open on the 15th of December.

The Drop-in-centre in Darfur is going well. 70-90 children receive food, medical care and basic education as well as counselling and a lot of love and care on a daily basis.

A team of four from Khartoum did outreach among Somalis in South Ethiopia, which was also meant to mobilize the Ethiopian church to work among Somalis.

A prominent secondary school teacher from Darfur told his father about his new-found faith. His father said,  “My son, I am illiterate; you are educated. If you have finally discovered that Christianity is the true religion, follow it—but don’t forget we are a family. Nothing should separate us; maybe one day I will also follow this Jesus.” All have been baptized.

In a Bible Exhibition in Khartoum, a Muslim asked for a copy of the Injil (Gospel) but spoke in hushed tones so that nobody could hear. When a Bible was brought to him, he again whispered, “I need 20 copies for my friends.”
