Bringing hope to Sudanese children

Workers with Operation Mercy (OM's partner aid agency) are bringing new hope to the lives of orphans and street kids in Sudan.  Together with other NGOs, they are currently developing vocational training workshops and finding ways to generate income for the centres that they run.  Funding is needed to purchase carpentry and other tools to help with these projects.

During school holidays some boys return home to stay with relatives but others are still too disturbed to leave the Operation Mercy centres or simply have no-where else to go.  Four boys have entered university but sponsors are needed to fund their further education.

Praise God for how these projects are transforming the lives of children and young people in Sudan.  Pray for God's continued provision.

 

Obreros de Operation Mercy (Operación Misericordia), ONG asociada de OM, están llevando una nueva esperanza para las vidas de huérfanos y niños de la calle en Sudán. Junto a otras ONGs, desarrollan talleres de capacitación vocacional y están buscando maneras para generar recursos para los centros que ellos tienen.

Hacen falta fondos para comprar maquinaria de carpintería y otras herramientas para ayudar con estos proyectos.

Durante las vacaciones del colegio algunos niños vuelven a casa para estar con familiares, pero hay otros que no están listos para dejar los centros de Operación Misericordia o simplemente no tienen a donde ir. Cuatro muchachos han ingresado a la universidad pero hacen falta patrocinadores para poder pagar sus estudios.

Alaba a Dios por la forma en que estos proyectos están transformando las vidas de niños y jóvenes en Sudán.
