Amazing Grace Released

"The third concert—horrible time setting up—couldn't get the gear to work right—all of us very frustrated; but, everyone held their cool—we actually ended up laughing (and seriously praying) about it. The concert started like running in sludge. Then the pot was broken in ‘Sacred Surrender’, a song and dance that portrayed the scene when Mary came to wash Jesus’ feet. Something in the heavenlies ‘broke’ as well—it was a spiritual release that was felt even backstage. The piece was danced in the open plaza before the mayor and his entourage. It was awesome, as ‘Amazing Grace’ was sung for the first time ever over the city.

"Interestingly enough, this city is a producer of bottled spring water. How cool to sing about the living water that Christ brings to anyone who is thirsty. And even though it was done in English, who can discount what God did in the heavenlies as we proclaimed His name over the region?"

“El tercer concierto – un tiempo horrible de preparación- no logramos que todo funcione bien – todos nosotros muy frustrados. Sin embargo, todos mantuvieron la calma y, al final terminamos todos riendo (y orando profundamente) por lo que sucedió. El concierto comenzó como si corriéramos en el barro. Luego, una luz se rompió en ‘Sacred Surrender’, una canción acompañada con una danza que representa la escena cuando María llega para lavar los pies de Jesús. También en los lugares celestes algo ‘se rompió’- un espíritu fue liberado y se sintió aún detrás del escenario. La pieza musical fue danzada en la plaza abierta, con la presencia del alcalde y su comitiva entre el público. Fue maravilloso cuando se cantó ‘Sublime Gracia’ por primera vez en la ciudad.

“Es interesante que la ciudad embotella agua de manantial. ¡Qué bueno fue cantar del agua viva que Cristo trae a todos los sedientos! Y, aunque se cantó en inglés, ¿quién puede negar lo que Dios hizo en los lugares celestes cuando proclamamos su nombre en esta región?
