To the World

For the first time in OM PNG ministry, 19 young people attended the orientation training programme that equips new recruits before joining OM. The participants came from all over the country and from many different denominational backgrounds. They experienced four weeks of intensive training, both within the classroom and in practical settings for hands-on ministry.

The training was run by the OM staff, returning missionaries and different people from other ministry groups. The objective was to equip the recruits in different areas of life, both spiritual and practical, to prepare them for ministry and challenges they might encounter on the field. The 19 who participated in the program are now raising prayer and financial support. God willing, the new recruits will be joining different OM fields starting early next year.

OM PMG has mobilised others to join missions with OM, some of whom are now serving in South Asia, South Africa and on Asia Challenge Teams in Thailand. Please pray for the new-recruits in raising prayer and financial support. Please pray for the PNG staff.

HACIA EL MUNDO – Papúa Nueva Guinea
Por primera vez durante el ministerio de OM Papúa Nueva Guinea, 19 jóvenes asistieron a un entrenamiento de orientación que equipa a los candidatos antes de unirse a OM. Los participantes vinieron de todo el país y de muchas diferentes denominaciones. Experimentaron cuatro semanas de entrenamiento intensivo, tanto en las aulas como en el ministerio práctico.

El entrenamiento fue llevado a cabo por el personal de OM, junto a misioneros que estaban de regreso y diferentes personas de otros ministerios. El objetivo fue darles herramienta para manejarse en diferentes áreas de la vida, tanto espiritual como práctica, para prepararlos para el ministerio y los desafíos que pueden encontrar en el campo. Los 19 participantes ya están levantando apoyo en oración y económico. Dios mediante, estos candidatos se unirán a diferentes campos de OM a principios del año próximo.

OM Papúa Nueva Guinea ha movilizado a otros para unirse a OM, algunos de ellos están sirviendo ahora en el Sur de Asia, el Sur de África y en los Equipos de Desafío en Asia en Tailandia.
