The Truth Still Sets Men Free

A group of 9 international and Israeli believers from OM Israel recently took the light and love of Jesus into the darkness of the Boombamela New Age Festival. Boombamela is basically an all night hippie/reggae beach party attended by thousands. The group held many conversations, opening the Tanach (OT) to read the “forbidden chapter,” Isaiah 53. Some printed lies about them on cards and passed them out; some ripped up their books, mocked them and slandered the name of Jesus. Most simply ignored the believers, but other young people eagerly listened to the gospel, asked questions, even hugged them. God worked to save two young men from the Negev desert, and the team is sending ministers to visit and encourage them in their new faith. Please pray for more fruit from conversations and for the unnamed young men from the Negev!

OM Israel has also realised there is a great potential for reaching native Israelis with the gospel outside of Israel! They are hoping to set up an initial team of 3-10 people who would train in Israel and then go out to the nations. Target countries would include, but not be limited to, Nepal, India, Thailand and the Andean nations of South America, as well as world cities such as London, Amsterdam and New York. Please pray for this new OM initiative that the team strongly believes is of the Lord.
 

LA VERDAD TODAVÍA HACE LIBRES A LOS HOMBRES – Israel
Un grupo de 9 creyentes israelíes y del extranjero del equipo de OM Israel recientemente llevaron la luz y el amor de Jesús a la oscuridad del Festival de Nueva Era Boombamela. Este evento es básicamente una fiesta hippie/reggae en la playa que dura toda la noche y donde asisten miles de personas. Nuestros hermanos tuvieron muchas conversaciones, con la Tenach (El Antiguo Testamento) en la mano para compartir sobre el “capítulo prohibido” de Isaías 53. Algunos escribieron mentiras en tarjetas y se las pasaron a otros; algunos rompieron sus libros, se mofaron de ellos y calumniaron el nombre de Jesús. La mayoría simplemente ignoró a los creyentes, pero otros jóvenes escucharon atentamente el evangelio, hicieron preguntas, y hasta los abrazaron. Dios obró en la salvación de dos jóvenes del desierto del Negev, y el equipo está enviando obreros para que los visiten y los animen en su nueva fe. ¡Por favor ora por más frutos de estas conversiones y por nuestros amigos en el Negev!

OM Israel también es consciente que hay un gran potencial en alcanzar con el evangelio a israelíes que están fuera de su país. Esperan conformar un equipo inicial de 3 a 10 personas quienes serán entrenados en Israel y luego irán a las naciones. Los países a alcanzar serían Nepal, India, Tailandia y las naciones Andinas de Sudamérica, pero el proyecto no se limita sólo a estos países. También se está pensando en ciertas ciudades como Londres, Ámsterdam, Nueva York. Por favor ora por esta nueva iniciativa de OM. El equipo está convencido que esto viene de Dios.
