Broken heart for God's people

"I am not normally an emotional person, but for the last few weeks I had been praying for God to break my heart for what breaks His,” said Caitlin, one of 27 teenagers from an American church that worked with five churches in Cardiff and the surrounding area this month. “One morning during devotions, I had a heavy heart and I had no idea why. When we finished devotions and we were singing, I had tears streaming down my face. [God] has truly broken my heart this week for His people, not just the poor, but also all the lost, for which I am ever grateful”

Mickey, one of the teachers, said, "We have to ask God for His perspective. He created people and they are lost, and He wants to save them. Evangelism is about that: us being His faithful instruments by telling people, by trying to be nice and by being helpful to people. We have to remember that it's not our message; we cannot take pride in what happens."

Please pray for the lives that were changed as a result of the outreach. Pray for the teenagers as they return home, that they would experience God in new ways in their daily lives.
