Light after nightmares

Turning Point is in the middle of a full season of outreaches. Read one participant’s account of her recent experience on one of the teams:

“I was already awake when my alarm went off. I kept waking up all night due to serious nightmares. Exhausted, I went into the dining area to eat breakfast. After asking around, I discovered every girl on the team had nightmares as well. One girl, who had been to the area we were going to that day, told me she had always felt something dark every time she went there. We prayed that God would be strong in that place.

“When we arrived at our location, we experienced horrible weather and callous people. I prayed that God would rid the area of the evil I was feeling in that place. A few moments later, a man asked if we offered prayer. He told me that he was a believer, but was having horrible nightmares and wanted my opinion on evil dreams. I praised the Lord that He sent this man to me. I got to have a conversation with him about the victory we have in Jesus. We agreed to pray for each other and both left the conversation encouraged and blessed by one another. Praise the Lord that He is always watching over us, even in dark times.”

Praise God that He is touching lives daily through the Turning Point outreaches. Please pray for the leaders and participants, that they would be strengthened daily and see God move in mighty ways.
