G8 Prayer Summit at Forterocca

A group of people from multiple nations came to Forte Rocca to pray during the G-8 summit in Italy, the group prayed through the whole week for the leaders of G-8 and for God to lead the meeting.
Intercessors from multiple Christian organisations united for three days of worship and prayer in Northern Italy to seek God’s purposes for the nations.

While the leaders of the eight strongest democracies along with representatives from the European Union discussed global warming, economics and other international issues, this team of intercessors asked the Lord to “bless the kings of the nations that they might be a blessing to the nations.”

Summit team leader, Ian Cole, from World Prayer Center UK explained that this prayer team was joined by tens of thousands of intercessors from different nations around the globe who were watching the G8 proceedings closely as well.

“As the kings of the earth flew into L’Aquila Italy to begin their meetings, we met to praise and lift up the name of the King of Kings! Tucked away in a corner of Italy we were able to follow the proceedings and agenda of these leaders via live internet feed and pray into their discussions.”
