Sixteen months previously, the HIS team ran a song-writing workshop in Mongolia. One of the participants invited them to come and record Mongolian worship music. Included in the eleven Mongolian worship songs chosen for the recording was one written during that workshop.
In addition to the recording sessions each evening the team led a workshop for both traditional and contemporary songwriting with around 25 local participants. The trip came to a climax with a concert featuring new songs composed at the workshop.
"It gradually dawned on us that during our short visit we were privileged to add our little part to the great symphony God was already orchestrating across this land," explained Frank Fortunato. "We were merely swept along, riding the crest of the wave."
