Work is continuing on the rest of the facility and a team of Canadian builders are coming for three weeks to help finish off the rest of the interior which includes another classroom, kitchen, dining room, offices, accommodation for a caretaker couple and additional dormitories.
Thanks to Canadian OM Russia team member, Jonathan Thiessen and his Canadian contacts, the Discipleship Centre building has been built using Canadian technology. This has allowed it to be put up in record speed, at low cost, and has meant that the building is warm even at the lowest Siberian temperatures (last week the temperature was down to -40 Celsius).
Before lectures started on Monday, the staff and students of the Discipleship Centre took time to pray and thank God for the realisation of this vision which He gave to the OM Russia team two years ago. As a team, we are also very thankful for all the financial support we have received from churches and individuals – we are now only a few thousand dollars away from being able to complete the entire project!
