Mobilising the youth to explore HIS calling!

“Within 4 years, attendants youth summer camp doubled, while 10 among the 160 committed themselves to full-time ministry – the youngest one is only 17! God is certainly bringing a youth revival to KeitoCCC.

How can church promote mission education?

"1.      Experiential learning – Let the youth explore the world through short-term mission trips.

2.      Group Dynamics – ‘Big Brothers/Sisters’ serve as role models to inspire the youth.

3.      A Lesson o f Faith – Through sharing needs and raising funds for even short trips, they learn to rely on God and grow in their faith.

4.      Unity and Diversity – One youth said, “I have no calling to become a missionary, but I’ll do well in my studies and work, so that I can participate in mission by supporting others financially and in prayers.”

As members are sent, don’t you worry about running out of “people”?

"We’re sure that God will provide for whom He calls. It’s not easy for us to support our 8 missionaries but we truly experience that when we offer our tithe (1/10 of our youth are committed to full-time ministry), God will bless us abundantly in both the quality and quantity of our members."

On Relationship of Church and Mission Agency

"We can be good partners. The church can take care of members’ spiritual growth while the agencies may offer frontline training and encourage them to broaden their horizons. After visiting Doulos, our youth grew in both confidence and courage. We are planning to co-operate more with the agency next year."
