Nepali believers sharing Jesus with villagers whilst on outreach with the Winter Outreach Programme in Nepal.

In Bangladesh, one of our national brothers has travelled to another country in South Asia to learn more about what God is doing there through the work of OM. Do pray for him as he adapts to a new culture, language and situation; and that he would have some useful experiences to bring back home with him.

Our staff family retreat takes place from 18–21 February. Brother Chacko will be our main speaker, and will share God’s word from the book of Revelation. We hope that not only will he bring blessing and refreshment to our staff, but that he too would be blessed and refreshed.

In Nepal, in February we begin our one year discipleship/outreach training for young Nepali Christians. 15 men and women travel to our training base to take part; we hope that God will prepare their hearts and minds to learn what He wants to teach them in the classroom, and use them on outreach. Our Nepali staff are organising the Joshua Training Programme and making lists of partner churches who will be involved in the outreaches.

God has been very faithful in enabling us to help train and equip the Nepali church, as well as protecting our teams when they go out. In the recent Winter Outreach Programme, our team took one week to reach the villages in the remote mid west: the first time a team had come into this area to share God’s love. The church, which needs a trained pastor, and a church building of its own, was so excited that the team had come to visit and help them.  The team visited eleven villages and shared the Gospel with approximately 2,000 people during the 21 days of outreach, including schools programmes in four different schools.

In Pakistan, we held our annual Christmas Get-Together on 10th January. All 109 workers gathered to give thanks and glory to God. We are so grateful for His faithfulness; and for the entire team - last year, two families and two singles were warmly welcomed as long term members. We look to God for His leading in the year 2010!

Praise God for the safe arrival of three new babies to our families on team. We also celebrate the recent marriage of one couple!

The Women’s Bible Training Camp takes place from 16-27 February and the Men’s Camp from 2-13 March. We expect 40 men and women to join us for good Biblical teaching and spiritual growth. We are looking for gifted teachers, more individuals to join our teams, all the physical arrangements that need to take place, and for the participants to come with a learning spirit.

The ‘Great Commission’ Conference will take place at the centre from 9–11 February for over 70 pastors and leaders, to help them learn ways to motivate others and spread the vision to fulfil the ‘Great Commission’.
