Sisters in Christ!

Xhevahire and Alma are two believers in a small village church. Two months ago they began meeting with Maryanne, an OMer, once a week for a Bible study. "Both girls are similar in age and share a sense of sisterhood," said Maryanne. "It’s been awesome to see the work that God is doing in their lives."

One time Maryanne suggested they invite Jehona, another believer, who is a few years younger, to their Bible study. At first neither girl liked the idea because of conflicts between their families and their own reluctance. "We had a talk about the importance of being there for each other, and how Jehona also needed that, especially because she’s only 13," said Maryanne.

But God is at work - at the next church service, Xhevahire made a bee-line straight to Jehona as soon as she entered the church.

Jehona joined Maryanne and the girls for the next Bible study, but the following week, she couldn’t come. It was then that Alma said, "MaryAnne, I don't think Jehona really 'gets it' yet. Can Xhevahire and I invite her to my house on Sunday, so that we can explain it to her in Albanian?"

Maryanne has been amazed seeing how God is changing hearts. We serve a great God!
