Teenager girls learning how to dream at at Heelal Youth Centre
Although only a few girls turned up for Heelal Youth Centre's 2nd Girl's Night "Dream Big", the atmosphere was good! While making collages of their lives, they talked about dreams for tomorrow, next week, Autumn and the next ten years. The girls learnt that visions and dreams are important if we want to get anywhere, but that perseverance is necessary too.

During the evening, Dorothee* asked Marijke (OM) whether they could listen to songs from "Kutless" and "Creed" - both Christian bands. "Dorothee told me that she knew something about Christian music, because one of her friends had come to radical faith the year before," said Marijke. "I asked Dorothee how she had experienced this change in her friend, and it became a great opener to talk about faith. Then I wrote in my dream that I would like to get married this Autumn. Dorothee asked me why I wanted to marry, as it cost money and eventually most people separated. It was a great opportunity to talk about marriage from God's perspective, although I sensed she understood little of what I said."

Pray that as Marijke and her team respond to the girls' questions, that they would speak truth in an understandable way, and that the girls in Emmeloord would see God in their lives and come to know Him too!
