Global Challenge Testimony

This testimony is about OM Philippines’ Global Challenge Program,  a program that challenged the young and old to “go the extra mile” for God in mission.

“At first, I found it hard to adjust because of cultural differences. I am an Igorot and we do not express our emotions; in fact, we hide them. At the training, I learned many things like: expressing true feelings and trusting your friends/companions. I found that it helped me a lot in relating to other members in the team and building my confidence. It also helped to prepare each one physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually for the mission.

“It was the first time that I evangelise to people who were older than me and I thank the Lord for giving me the boldness to do it. I know that the Lord has put me in the right place where I am serving in Payeo, Bedbed, Mankayan, Benguet. I feel the satisfaction in my heart, every time I translate, bringing the message to my fellow Igorots.

“Global Challenge is a great help for people who want to know their callings, to discover the many gifts in you and are just waiting to be used by HIM. This challenge will show you the passion of Christ to care for others.....”

OM’s role in the Church is to mobilise people to share the knowledge of Jesus and His love with every generation in every nation. OM pioneers and leads initiatives to redeem lives, rebuild communities and restore hope in over 110 countries.
