“Even our cat has taken the concept of relational mission to heart,” says Andrew, “making firm friends of neighbourhood couples, inviting herself for dinner and seeking to bless where possible.” Of the 3 kittens born to her this month, one is destined to fill the loss of another cat with two of her neighbourhood friends.
“As a result of our cat’s multiplicative ministry,” Karen* continues, “we have had some wonderful conversations with these people, who have asked that we get together to talk issues of faith and the Bible. God is amazing in how he manages to open doors and the tools he can use. All it takes is willingness to seize opportunities when presented (and to have a mission-minded cat...)”

UPDATE: While Karen was away, the same neighbours invited Andrew and his daugthers out for dinner. “We then spent a few more hours at their house,” says Andrew, “where I played worship songs on my guitar for them, and discussed intensely what they would do with Jesus.”
The end result – Andrew and his daughters arrived home at 01:30 with the promise that the neighbours would come to church with them the following Sunday – and were in fact really keen to do so!
“Oh, and they were moved to tears especially by the song by Brooke Fraser and Hillsong United 'None But Jesus',” adds Andrew. “God is amazing in His love and desire to bring people to Himself.”
When asked what his next step would be, replies Andrew, “Why, let's start a new church!”
