A Marriage Remade by Heaven

The Nepali Christians were tired when they climbed the last hill to the village, but they were full of anticipation of how God would work through them. It was the third outreach for these Joshua Training Course students, who were spending a year being trained for ministry by OM Nepal. They soon connected with believers in the area and began teaching and sharing the gospel.

During one of the meetings a woman approached the team with her husband. She had become a Christian years earlier, but he had been working overseas at the time. Now she wanted him to meet Christians and hear how he could also have peace with God. At the end of the team’s time in the village, after years of waiting and praying, this woman had the joy of watching her husband accept Christ as his Saviour. He confessed his alcoholism and publicly apologised to his wife for the way he had treated her. He promised to leave his sin and reconcile his damaged relationships with his family.

We praise God for bringing peace, hope, and a new beginning to this marriage. Pray with us that He would provide people to disciple this couple as they grow in their faith and their relationship.
