New way forward

In response to the growing number of ethnic minority groups in Hong Kong, OM Hong Kong recently moved the office from a commercial district to one of the poorest districts in the city. These past few years, God has opened the eyes of the Hong Kong outreach team to see the need of these neighbours—numbering over 340,000—most of whom are Muslim. God taught the team to live out His love to the ‘aliens in our midst’ (Exodus 22:21; 23:9). OM Hong Kong would like to make their home among the underprivileged people in order to serve them.

One level of the new offices will be used as a home office, while a second level will be used as a centre for training and development of the local cross cultural ministry. Please pray for God’s guidance and presence in the new way ahead for OM Hong Kong. Pray God draws the team closer to His heart and to those He loves!
 

UN NUEVO CAMINO HACIA ADELANTE – Hong Kong
En respuesta al creciente número de grupos de minorías étnicas en Hong Kong, OM en ese país recientemente mudó su oficina desde un sector comercial a uno de los más pobres en la ciudad. En los últimos años, Dios ha abierto los ojos del equipo de alcance de Hong Kong para ver la necesidad de sus vecinos (más de 340 000 personas), la mayoría de los cuales son musulmanes. Dios le enseño al equipo a vivir Su amor a los ‘extranjeros’ (Éxodo 22:21; 23:9). OM Hong Kong quiso tener su hogar entre los desamparados para poder servirlos.

Un piso de las nuevas instalaciones se utilizará como oficinas, mientras que el segundo piso funcionará como un centro de entrenamiento y desarrollo del ministerio transcultural local. Por favor ora por la guía y presencia de Dios en este nuevo camino hacia delante para OM Hong Kong. Ora para que Dios atraiga al equipo más cerca de Su corazón y hacia aquellos a los que Él ama.
