True Love's Ways

An invitation to spend a week with five Iranian girls in a villa set in beautiful, ancient forests felt like a huge privilege for Inga, especially as these girls had been friends with each other for more than 10 years. Inga learned a lot of Farsi slang which she found was quite different to the language she had studied, but as they spent time together she had many opportunities to share the Gospel in word and deed. One girl couldn’t understand why Christians don’t add the Koran to the Bible as the 67th book, but by the end of that conversation she decided to buy a Bible and read it for herself. The girls were all impressed by the cleanness of Inga’s behaviour – no drinking or smoking – and afterwards she received text messages apologising for theirs! However, what touched Inga most was the comment by one, ‘Look how she loves us.’

Pray for many searching girls in Iran and for the bold loving witness of Christians.
