Local church and OM host successful event for kids

A local church in Villa Giardino, located in the sierras of Córdoba, Argentina, organised an event for kids in the main plaza of the town and asked OM in Córdoba to help them.

Publicising the event in the schools, on the local radio and on television, the church hoped to share the message of Christ with those who might be uncomfortable entering a church.

The sun shone brightly the day of the event. Children arrived a few at a time and brought their families. They came ready for the activities and participated in the play prepared by the OM team, which showed how Christ in our hearts can make all the difference.

A pastor later commented, “The majority of the adults that came live in the neighbourhood of the church and had never entered the doors! Many are now coming in these consecutive weeks.”

After the event, Ana Maria, a church member, called the OM team to say that many parents who came to the party were surprised at the great work everyone had done. “Thanks so much for coming,” she said.

Praise God that people are now attending church after hearing about Christ during the outreach. Please pray for the growth of the church in Villa Giardino. Pray also for the ministry of the OM team in Córdoba.
