OM leaders in The Philippines are considering the best response following the tragic mudslide that devastated an entire village and killed an estimated 2,000 people on February 17.  Caused by unusual prolonged rain, the mudslide flattened the barangay (village) of Guinsaugon.

"How we respond will depend on the generosity of our friends and partners,"wrote OM Philippines leader Jun Diaz.  "We will look at partnering with like-minded organisations and churches and see how we can be involved in the rehabilitation phase.  Please pray for the affected families - those who have lost loved ones, homes and livelihoods.  Gifts can be sent to any OM office marked "Landslide help - Philippines".
