Children at orphanages that OM is helping in Haiti.
The OM Haiti team is currently working with Haiti Broilers and Andrew Palau in preparation for the second-annual Le Chic Poulet—Fun in the Son with Andrew Palau. Last year the festival (held just outside of Port-au-Prince) saw about 40,000 people in attendance. This year the festival will be on 16 March 2013 in Champs de Mars, which is the area next to the National Palace in downtown Port-au-Prince.

The festival begins with bicycle and motorcycle riders doing stunts in the Action Sports area, then the first of four well-known gospel artists will perform on stage. Finally Andrew Palau will give a gospel message and invitation. Billed as a day of free family fun, between 80,000—100,000 people are anticipated to be on hand.

OM Haiti's Henry Couser has been tasked as the director of security for the festival, working with the Haitian national police, UN security forces, private security and volunteer security personnel. On the day of the festival, the OM staff will be passing out thousands of gospel tracts, assisting with counselling and also promoting awareness of HIV, AIDS and STDs.

Last year festival counsellors documented over 1,600 people that made decisions for Christ during the festival. Pray with Henry and his team that more people will receive Christ into their lives this year and that transformation will occur in the country. Also pray for the safety of staff, artists and all those in attendance, and for good weather during festival week.
