Because of the language barrier in Kristiansand, Norway, local volunteers were recruited to give tours of the ship, along with a few Logos II crewmembers. One guide named Oywin had served on board Logos II’s sister ship several years ago. “It’s great to be back working with ship people, and to be encouraged in my faith,” he said. At the end of the ship visit, Oywin was heartened. “I was giving a tour one day, and as I stood there talking about the ship ministry, I was so overwhelmed by what this means to me. I started crying as I was talking. Giving tours and being here was a very touching time for me,” he said.
