The three-month programme is designed to equip the next generation of Latin missionaries to take the good news of the gospel to the ends of the earth. A mix of theoretical and practical training will provide the students with skills for local or cross-cultural ministry.
In the classroom, students will be challenged to deepen their relationship with God, focusing on issues in their past that might hinder their effectiveness in ministry. They will also learn about different world faiths and how to reach people with the gospel. They will gain the practical skills necessary to function and thrive in a cross-cultural, multi-national team. The outreach portions of the training will challenge the students to use their newly-acquired skills to reach out to different communities around Panama.
Please pray for the OM Panama team as they prepare for the school to begin on 15 January. Please pray for the students who are making preparations to join the school. Pray that they will be able to raise the support needed for the training.
